Abstract
Interpretation of experimental relaxation data requires information about the conditions and limits that apply. Examples include exponentiality of relaxation curves, high-field or low-field limits, the Redfield condition, intramolecular or intermolecular interactions, influence of electron-paramagnetic impurities, fast or slow exchange limits, etc. This chapter summarizes the criteria by which the researcher can examine and classify data sets.
