Abstract

Ta-doped porous TiO₂ nanorod arrays on a Ta substrate are synthesized and used as a photoanode for photoelectrochemical water oxidation. The Ta substrate provides Ta dopants and also plays a vital role in the formation of nanopores in the nanorods.
