Abstract

A facile and inexpensive method to impregnate the NO donor (SNAP, S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine) in 3D-printed medical devices to resist infection. The NO-release levels from the surfaces can be modulated by tuning the porosities of the surfaces.
