Abstract

Homoleptic [GaL3] and heteroleptic organometallic [GaMe2L] gallium complexes of inactive quinolone antibiotics show enhanced antibacterial activity (MIC 0.024–0.781 μM) towards four multi-drug resistant strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae.
