Abstract

Extraction studies of An(iii) and Ln(iii) with C4-BPP showed an excellent separation factor of SFAm(iii)/Eu(iii) ≈ 200 due to [Eu(C4-BPP)2(2-bromohexanoate)m](3−m)+ (m = 1–3). In contrast, Cm(iii) forms significantly more stable homoleptic complexes.
