Abstract

An in vitro synthetic enzymatic biosystem (ivSEB) comprising five thermophilic enzymes with balanced NAD+/NADH was developed for the biomanufacturing of 2 moles of l-malate from 1 mole of d-glucose through the fixation of 2 moles of CO2.
