Abstract

Intramolecular metal-to-ligand electron transfer induced multi-step reduction of azobis(1-methylbenzimidazole) and its varying binding scenarios have been illustrated on selective {RuII(acac)2} (acac=acetylacetonate) and CuI-platforms.
