Abstract

An iridium catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of exocyclic γ,δ-unsaturated β-ketoesters via dynamic kinetic resolution was developed, providing efficient protocol for enantioselective synthesis of functionalized chiral allylic alcohols.
