Polyolefin catalysis of propene, 1-butene and isobutene monitored using hyperpolarized NMR

Abstract
Hyperpolarization by dissolution dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) enhances 13C NMR signals of normally gaseous olefins. The polymerization reactions of these dissolved gases catalyzed by a metallocene catalyst are characterized in real time.
