Abstract
New [PtX(Me2phen)(η1-E-CHCHX)] and [PtX(Me2phen)(η1-E-CHCHX)(η2-CHCH)] complexes were discovered by studying the reactivity of [PtX2(N–N)] (X = Br, I) with acetylene.
