Abstract

Barium oxynitridosilicates were prepared at a low temperature from a mixture of BaCN₂ and SiO₂. Alkaline earth carbodiimides are a potential nitrogen source for achieving a low-temperature and energy-efficient process for a formation of oxynitrides.
