Abstract

The solvothermal in situ C–C coupling reaction promoted by Sm³⁺ ion in Schiff base –CHN–CH₂– system is firstly reported, and two resulting temperature-dependent Sm(iii)-complexes 1 and 2 have different luminescent performance.
