Abstract

The novel nanomaterials AuxPdy@ZIF-8 catalyze H2-producing ammonia borane methanolysis; the reaction is considerably boosted by visible-light irradiation and ZIF-8 surpassing other supports. KIE studies and DFT calculations delineate the mechanism.
