Abstract

A series of Ru(ii) polypyridyl complexes [Ru(N^N)2(ox)] (1–3) containing oxalate (ox) were studied for their interactions with DNA and BSA, and their photocytotoxicity against HepG2 liver cancer cells mediated by ROS in green light is investigated.
