Abstract

Novel ZIF-8/gold nanocomposites with significantly enhanced ROS generation capability for boosting the photobactericidal activity of MOFs are fabricated by combining the LSPR effect of AuNRs and the photosensitization feature of ultrasmall AuNCs under visible light illumination.
