Abstract
An ultrathin 2D MOF based catalyst with fully exposed single-site Pd(ii) active centers shows superior catalytic efficiency for the isonitrile-involved cyclization reaction compared to 3D MOF based Pd(ii) catalyst and homogeneous counterpart.
