Abstract
Phosphine chalcogenides react with primary amino alcohols in a CCl4/Et3N system to chemoselectively deliver chalcogenophosphinic acids amides with free OH groups. Similar reaction for aminophenols gives exclusively chalcogenophosphinic O-esters.
