Abstract
Solid-state electrolytes, such as Li7La3Zr2O12, are able to enable safer, more energy dense, and longer lasting batteries. Understanding the role of doping in terms of the optimum properties of a solid-state electrolyte is a crucial stepping stone to realisation of this technology.
