Abstract

Carbon dots synthesized by the hydrothermal treatment of dicyandiamide and o-phenylenediamine in dilute H₂SO₄ exhibit efficient excitation-independent red dual-emission useful for ratiometric fluorescence sensing and cellular imaging.
