Efficient and selective removal of Congo red by a C@Mo composite nanomaterial using a citrate-based coordination polymer as the precursor

Abstract
A carbon-based material (C-1) and a C@Mo material (C-Mo-1) as novel efficient adsorbents with selective properties for the removal of organic dyes have been successfully synthesized by the CVD method from the catalyst precursor of a new Cu-cit CP.
