Abstract

Synthesis of a new tricyclic 1,4-dihydro-1,4-phosphasiline is described, including the selective reduction of the P atom to form the novel P-anionic derivative. Its redox chemistry is investigated via cyclic voltammetry analysis and DFT studies.
