Abstract

The performance decay of Li₄Ti₅O₁₂ (LTO) associates with the ever-increasing residual Li⁺ and Ti³⁺ in the delithiated LTO, structure disordering, gradually reduced conductivities, and escalated polarization besides the electrolyte decomposition.
