Abstract
A charge-neutral Zn(ii)/Co(ii) tridecanuclear oxocarboxylate cluster was synthesized under anaerobic conditions by the controlled hydrolysis of an alkylzinc benzoate in the presence of cobalt(ii) benzoate.
