Abstract

Synergistic roles of Li₂MnO₃ and NCM experimentally observed in high-Mn, Li-rich oxides were theoretically elucidated through the crystal field stabilisation of electronic structures, which reveals that NCM stabilises the transition metal layer of Li₂MnO₃.
