Abstract

The first fluorooxophosphorsulfate with mixed-anion building units [S₂O₇]²⁻ and [PO₂F₂]⁻ was synthesized. The introduction of an F atom into phosphate–sulfate improved the polarization anisotropy and increased the birefringence.
