Abstract

An elaborate morphological design is reported to decorate 2D MnO2 nanosheets with 1D SnO2 nanowires, thus forming a novel, delicate 1/2D hybrid architecture for high-capacity reversible lithium storage through a remarkable synergy by effectively bridging the merits of the building blocks.
