Axially bonded pentads constructed on the Sn(iv) porphyrin scaffold

Abstract
Three pentads based on the Sn(iv) porphyrin scaffold were synthesized using three covalently linked dyads such as porphyrin–ferrocene, porphyrin–BODIPY and porphyrin–sapphyrin as axial units. The spectral, electrochemical and photophysical properties were studied for these dyads and pentads.
