Abstract

Structural characterisation of the full range of hydrated rare-earth bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide salts showed the structures to be [Sc(H₂O)₇][Tf₂N]₃·H₂O, Ln(H₂O)₃(Tf₂N)₃, Ln(H₂O)₃(Tf₂N)₃ or [Ln(H₂O)_x][Tf₂N]₃.
