Abstract

Via the help of polydopamine, polyacrylonitrile fiber catalysts functionalized with silver nanoparticles were prepared and employed for the reduction reaction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol, with a yield of 98% in 30 minutes, and can be reused for up to 10 cycles.
