Abstract

Hierarchical Fe-doped Ni₃Se₄ ultrathin nanosheets are synthesized via solvothermal synthesis and a topotactic selenization process. The prepared (Ni,Fe)₃Se₄ ultrathin nanosheets supported on Ni foam needed an overpotential of only 225 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm⁻² and a small Tafel slope of about 41 mV dec⁻¹.
