Abstract

A Co-catalyzed C(sp³)–H oxygenation reaction to furnish diverse aldehydes from methylarenes in TFA/TFAA is reported. This transformation demonstrated high chemo-selectivity, and tolerated with various methylarenes bearing electron-withdrawing substituents.
