Abstract

Heating [Zn(S₂CNⁱBu₂)₂] in oleylamine affords high aspect ratio nanowires of ZnS and in situ XAS studies of the decomposition of [Zn(S₂CNMe₂)₂] give insight into mechanistic aspects of the molecular transformations.
