Abstract

Here we report the discovery of both a new high-temperature and an H-deficient polymorph of Li2B10H10. The H-deficient γ-Li2B10H10−y exhibits fast Li-ion conductivity under ambient conditions, and may be relevant for all-solid-state Li-batteries.
