Abstract

An ultrathin W₁₈O₄₉@carbon nanowire web anode showed the best cycling performance (889 mA h g⁻¹ after 250 cycles at 200 mA g⁻¹) among the tungsten oxide anode materials used in lithium-ion batteries reported to date.
