Abstract

SHS process reduces period from over 10 h to less than 1 min, and thermal analysis indicates the ignition temperature of BiCuSeO approaches the second lower melting point of the compound. ZT = 0.91 at 873 K for Bi_0.96Pb_0.04CuSeO was achieved.
