Abstract

The nanoscale interface between multi-component (Ag–Au–Cu–Pd–Pt) alloy nanoparticles on MoS₂ sheets increase its work function making an ohmic contact into Schottky with gold electrodes. This drastically enhances response towards hydrogen gas.
