Enhanced electrochemical performance in an aluminium doped δ-MnO2 supercapacitor cathode: experimental and theoretical investigations

Abstract

Experimental analysis and theoretical calculation methods have been applied to gain a deep understanding of the electrochemical performance of the δ-Al0.06MnO2 system. Al doping could weaken the surface energy and hinder the side reaction or structure transformation, leading to a better cycling and rate performance of δ-MnO2.
