Abstract

Introduction of three methoxy groups at 5-, 6- and 7-positions of quinoline rings of BQDMEN (N,N′-bis(2-quinolylmethyl)-N,N′-dimethylethylenediamine) affords Cd2+-selective fluorescence enhancement.
