Abstract

Polymorphic layered lanthanide compounds α-, β-, γ-Ln(2-qpH)(SO4)(H2O)2 (α-Ln = Sm; β-Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm; γ-Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) are reported, and distinct magnetic dynamics is found for β-Nd and γ-Nd.
