Abstract

Novel β-Bi3O3(VO4) (I) and KBi5O5(PO4)2 (II) were synthesized hydrothermally. The influence of water pressure is essential for the stabilization of Bi3O3(VO4) polymorphs. (I)/(II) emit in the red-near-infrared/green orange range.
