Abstract

Gadolinium silicide (Gd₅Si₄) nanoparticles prepared by surfactant-assisted ball milling exhibit a size-dependent reduction in magnetic ordering temperature and a high magnetothermal effect making them suitable for magnetic hyperthermia applications.
