Abstract

New copper(ii) complexes display distorted square pyramidal geometry with CuN4S core and bind to CT DNA partial intercalative mode. Cytotoxicity is selective to cancerous cells and causes cell death mostly through the apoptotic mechanism, which produces the most ROS.
