Abstract

The molecular binding behavior of sulfonated calixarenes with phenanthroline-diium guests were systemically investigated. p-Sulfonatothiacalix[4]arene shows a high affinity with phenanthroline-diium guests in the order of magnitude of 105 M⁻¹.
