Abstract

Isotropic exchange (Jiso) occurs between transition metal atoms of Mn2.7Cr0.3O4 in the range 2.5–4 Å. Four connectivities are observed within 2.8–3.9 Å, with varying exchange coupling constants. Green and purple balls denote Td and Oh-site cations.
