Abstract

Combining AlB2-type structures and ruthenium, we report the structural and electronic properties of a series of stable hexagonal XRu2 (X = Ti, V, Mn, Fe, Mo, Tc, W, Re, Os) and VXRu (X = Os, Fe) compounds that possess favorable superconductivity and catalytic performance.
