Abstract

N-doped flexible porous carbon encapsulated SiOx/C (p-NC/SiOx/C-3) was synthesized using rice husks as both the silicon and carbon source. When utilized as an anode for lithium ion batteries, p-NC/SiOx/C-3 delivers excellent cycling performance.
