Abstract

By means of the temperature-dependent phonon assisted non-radiative relaxation, the Er3+: 4I13/2 is indirectly thermally coupled with 4S3/2 one under NIR excitation, and the maximum relative sensitivity is up to 3.76% K−1 at 295 K.
