Abstract

Oxidative addition of SiH₄and GeH₄to Vaska's compound occurs in acismanner but two isomers can be obtained according to whether H istransto CO or Cl. Only the isomer with Htransto CO is observed for SiH₄, whereas both isomers are observed for GeH₄.
