Abstract

LAG mechanochemical methods are applied for the preparation of luminescent di- and tri-coordinated gold(i) derivatives. Among them, a distorted T shaped bis-phosphane gold(i) chloride compound strongly emits upon self-aggregation by hydrogen bonding.
