Abstract
Trapping of paddlewheel {Cu2(carboxylate)4} by ligand-bound {Cu2(μ-H2L)}3+ units resulted in dumbbell-shaped [Cu6] complexes modulating the tetracarboxylate bridged Cu⋯Cu separations.
